Zoar Lutheran Church Women (ZLCW) is the women's
Zoar Lutheran Church Women includes every woman member of Zoar, ALL women (regardless of membership) are welcome at events sponsored by ZLCW. We also welcome volunteers to assist with activities. Your involvement is vital to the success of our ministry!
ZLCW is involved with caring for the community and Zoar's family throughout the year with different events.
Each year, ZLCW invites all of Zoar to gather together for their annual ZLCW Baby Shower. Working together, they bring Healthy Families of Clackamas County items for families who contact Healthy Families of Clackamas County for support. ZLCW also provides outlet safety kits to include with other items given.
Funds are raised through the Holiday Craft Fair in the fall. These funds are used for mission projects both within the church and in the wider community. Some of which include:
Health and School kits - These kits are provided to Clackamas County Children's Services for foster children and families in need.
Quilts - Our Sewing Circle is through ZLCW, although men are welcome and already assist by building new quilting frames or cutting quilt squares.
